Jayne Farley

Jayne E. Settle Farley, 43, of Goose Creek, near Talcott died Sunday, February 03, 2008 at Kingsport, TN following a long illness. Born June 16, 1964 at Fairfax, VA she was the daughter of James E. and Helen Lilly Settle of Judson Road, Talcott. She had lived most of her life in Summers County except for the past 20 years where she resided in Roanoke, VA, a former employee of Summers County Chamber of Commerce and Jones Realty and a member of the Grace Baptist Church of Roanoke, VA. Besides her parents Jayne is survived by one son, Steven D. Farley who is currently serving in the U.S. Air Force in Mississippi; two sisters, Barbara Reynolds of Linden, VA and Beverley Justice of Shelby, NC; one brother, James R. Settle of Margate, FL. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Alderson Cemetery at Alderson. Friends may call from noon till service time on Wednesday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
