Jean Chattin

Jean Boyd Chattin, 79 of Talcott died at 2:40 P.M. Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at home following a short illness. Born December 18, 1926 at Hilldale, she was a daughter of the late William R. and Lena Wyant Boyd. A lifelong resident of Talcott, she was a homemaker and a member of the Rollynsburg Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Everett L. â??Trueâ?? Chattin, and one brother, Charles William Boyd. Survived by two daughters, Jeanette Mann and her husband Dallas of Hilldale and Carolyn Eller and her husband Stan of Talcott; six grandchildren, Chris Mann and his wife Roberta, Shawn, Derek, and Devon Mann, Amy Smith and her husband Nathan and Lara Eller; one great-granddaughter, Emilee Carolyn Smith; two sisters, Garnet Boyd Roberts of Greenville, NC and Betty Boyd Halloran of Talcott; two brothers, Richard W. Boyd of Columbia, SC and Brian B. Boyd of Windsor Locks, CT. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 26, 2006 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastors Dana Stalnaker and Jim Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Talcott Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Friday. Ellery Wykle and men of the Rollynsburg Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
