Jean Elizabeth Shrewsbury, 80, of Beckley, passed away Monday, August 31, 2009 at the Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long illness.
Born August 28, 1929 at Green Sulphur Springs, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Virgie Graham. She was a homemaker and had resided most of her life in Beckley.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Tracy Shrewsbury and several brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory include three sons; Earl Rogers of Michigan, Elvin Rogers and wife Rebecca of Beckley and Roger Rogers of Beckley; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren also survive.
Graveside service and burial will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 4, 2009 at the Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Friends may gather at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlor in Hinton from 12 noon on Friday until time to depart for the cemetery.
