Jeanette Shelby Martin

     Jeanette Shelby Martin, 66, of Pulaski, VA formerly of Forest Hill went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 22, 2023 at her house following a long illness.

     Born February 17, 1957 at Sandstone she was a daughter of the late William Howard and Novena Ellen Gwinn Gill.

     Shelby was a member of Roles Chapel Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing, camping, yard sales and taking care of her children and family.

     Shelby was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Gill.

     Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 48 years Ralph Martin; two sons, Kenneth Martin and the mother of his children, Carrie and Adam Martin and the mother of his children, Tonna; five grandchildren, Kinzey, Angel, Landrie, Katie Jo and Kole; one great grandchild, Adley and one sister, Judy Hancock.

     Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 1, 2023 at Roles Chapel Baptist Church with Pastors Josh Cox and Robbie Merritt officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of services on Monday at the church. At Shelby’s request her body has been cremated.
