Jerry Lee Fox 48, of Tug Creek went to heaven at 1:15 P.M. Sunday, February 24, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston following a short illness. Born November 1, 1959 at Hinton he was the son of the late William F. Fox and Virginia â??Mogeneâ?? Adkins Fox of Tug Creek. Jerry was employed at Pipestem State Park and had previously worked in dairy farming, he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his four-wheeler. Besides his mother Jerry is survived by his wife of 5 ½ years, Sheila Fox of Tug Creek; one daughter, Sally Ann Fox of Tug Creek; two sons, Justin M. Fox and wife Amanda Ratliff of Tug Creek and Jody Fox and wife Mary of Crawley; three grandchildren, Lakelyn Fox, Caleb Ratliff and Corey Smith; one twin sister, Judy Withrow and husband Clifford of Frankford; one niece, Lora Brinegar of Tug Creek; one nephew Shane Brinegar of Raleigh Co.; one great nephew, Robert Bragg and one great niece, Hailey Brinegar. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Melvin Wills officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery on Tug Creek Mountain. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors. Mark Wills, Eddie Fernatt, Ray Gill, Henry Bishop, Timmy Gill, John Stevenson, Bobby Cales and Allen Brinegar will serve as pallbearers.
