Jerry Gill

Jerry Richard Gill, 62, of Hinton died Saturday, June 14, 2008 at his home following a long illness. Born February 3, 1946 at Hinton he was a son of the late Morgan and Lilly B. Martin Gill. Jerry was a self employed painter who loved hunting and fishing as long as his health permitted and he faithfully attended the First Presbyterian Church of Hinton. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Joe and Roy Lee Gill and one sister, Lize Plumley. Survived by his son, Erich Richard Gill and wife Victoria Lou; one grandson, Seth Cyrus Gill; five sisters, Kay Moss and husband Harold of Mocunaqua, PA, Linda Burns and husband Mike of Pence Springs, Anna Vandall, Emma Richmond and Phyllis S. Crook and husband Paul of Hinton; two brothers, Mike Gill and wife Carmella and Mark Gill and wife Eve both of Hinton and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 22, 2008 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Barbara Romfo officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from noon till service time on Sunday. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
