Jimmie E. Ward

            Jimmie Elsworth Ward 79, of Ashtabula, OH went home to be with the Lord January 12, 2023 at his home following a long illness.

            Born October 21, 1943 at Sandstone, WV he was the son of the late Jesse and Edna Richmond Ward.  Former Machinist for Conrail in Cleveland, OH until his retirement.  Jimmie enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in the outdoors.

            Besides his parents preceded in death by his wife Betty Ward; one grandson, David Ward Jr. and several brothers and sisters.

            Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Tammy Ward, Jimmie Ward Jr., Melody Jones, and David Ward all of Ashtabula, OH; grandchildren, Jimmie Ward III, Haley Ward, Hayden Fry; brothers, Ronnie and William Ward and several nieces, nephews.

            Family and friends may call from 11:00 am until Noon on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery.

            Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
