Joan Sprouse

Joan “Ali” Sprouse, 63, of Talcott died Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Cabell Huntington Hospital following a short illness.

Born December 12, 1957 in Hinton, WV, she was the daughter of the late Frank Crawford and Emma Marie Shrader Petrey of Hinton.

Ali was retired from the home health field and loved spending time with family, outdoor activities, crocheting and playing pool. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and sister.  Ali will be missed by all of her family and friends.

Preceding her in death are several brothers and sisters, aunts, and uncles.

She is survived by her husband David Sprouse of Talcott; two sons, David Lee Terry Jr. of North Carolina and Danny Cruz Galloway and wife Jess of Huntington; three daughters, Shana Lammon of Hinton, and Chelsie Sprouse of Talcott, Heather Sprouse and Junior Meadows of Talcott; two brothers, Calvin Foster and wife Lynn of Hinton and Kenny Meadows and wife Lisa of Hinton;  grandchildren, Chloe, Trinity, and Grayson Lammon of Ronceverte, Xavier of Princeton, MeKayla Meadows of Talcott; lifelong friends, Harry Bennett of Hinton, Greg and Vicky Lane of Talcott and Ricky Clinebell of Hinton.

Funeral services will be Tuesday May 18, 2021 at 7:00 PM at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Eddie Crews officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral parlor.  Following the services at Ali’s request, her body will be cremated.
