John W. "Jack" Casto, of Inverness, Florida, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011.
Born in Danese, West Virginia on April 14, 1930, he was the son of the late William Mart and Pearl Heaster Casto. He was of the Methodist Faith.
As a businessman, Jack owned and operated Dairy Queen restaurants in Covington and Buena Vista, Virginia.
Jack was an avid golfer and very active in community affairs. He was honored as one of the recipients of the Outstanding Young Men of America Award in 1965.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca H. Casto; children: Greg Casto and wife Jakey of Frederick, Maryland; Lisa C. Malcom and husband Mike of Hemet, California; Jan C. Stavinoha and husband Douglas of Houston, Texas; grandchildren: Mitchell and Matthew Casto and William and Dana Stavinoha; sister Alice Smith of Bethel, Ohio; sister-in-law Jenny Lee Harvey of Hinton, West Virginia.
Funeral services were held at 1:00pm on December 17, 2011 at the Oak Grove Methodist Church in Ballengee, West Virginia, with Pastor Donald L. Hannah officiating. Burial followed the service at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ballengee, West Virginia.
