John J. Ciesielski, 90 of Hilldale died at 5:00 A.M. Monday May 21, 2007 at his home following a long illness. Born August 17, 1916, at Baltimore MD, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Teofila Ciesielski. Member of the Rollynsburg Baptist Church at Talcott, retired tug boat engineer and served in the Merchant Marines for 54 years. John lived most of his life at Baltimore, MD until retiring to Summers Co. in 1979. Preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie and Henry Ciesielski and two sisters, Anna Stubs and Helen Holewinski. Survived by his wife of 31 years, Delma L. Rudisill Ciesielski; three sons, John J. Ciesielski Jr. and wife Gail of Baltimore, MD, Michael P. Stokes and Robert M. Pakacki Jr. both of Talcott; five daughters, Meisha Rathbone of Hawaii, Sandra Chips of MD, Debra Fuhrmanec of MD, Diane Calendine of Talcott and Denice Pakacki of Bellepoint; twenty four grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, one brother, Chester Ciesielski of MD. Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday May 23, 2007 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Tommy Mounts officiating. Burial will follow in the Barger Springs Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors. Family will serve as pallbearers.
