John Dosier

John A. Dosier, 86, of Indian Mills, died Sunday, June11, 2006 at 1:40 P.M. at the Montgomery Elder Care at Montgomery, following a long illness. Born May 16, 1920 at Alderson, he was the son of the late Elwood and Sally Bryant Dosier. John had lived most of his life at Indian Mills, and was a member of the Indian Mills Baptist Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Piney Smith, Marie Dosier and Abby Rhoads and two infant sisters. He is survived by several nephews, one niece and special friends; Osie and Elaine Flint of Ballard. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastors Steve Howdock and Darrell Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in the Indian Mills Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
