Jonathon Dean Cook, 30, of Jumping Branch went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 10, 2011 following injuries received from an accident.
Born March 13, 1980 in Summers Co. he was the son of the late Sherry Lynn Adkins and Gary Cook of Jumping Branch. Jonathon had lived most of his life in Summers Co., he was employed in the construction industry as a mason and loved playing his guitar and drums but he truly loved spending time with his family and friends.
Besides his father he is survived by his companion, Krissy Ash of Jumping Branch; two cherished sons, Brandon and Cole; two brothers, Gary Darrell Cook of Jumping Branch and Michael Cales of Hinton; two sisters, Alisa Forren of GA and Nanci Cook of Hilldale; grandmother, Eva Cook of Pipestem; one niece, Brailyn Cook and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Bob Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral parlors.
William Cook, Leonard Harrah Jr., Josh Yancey, Michael Gill, Steven Brown and Michael Miller will serve as pallbearers.
Billy Rose and James Pettry will serve as honorary pallbearers.
