Joseph Adkins

Joseph William â??Bubbyâ?? Adkins eleven month old son of Frankie and Kim Crowe Adkins of Hilldale, went home to be with the Lord 12:35 P.M. Friday March 16, 2007 in the Women and Childrens Hospital at Charleston. Joseph was born March 28, 2006 in Beckley at Raleigh General Hospital and was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Joseph â??Boâ?? Gill on November 12, 2005 and his maternal great grandfather, William Owens Crowe in March 22, 1982. Besides his parents he is survived by one sister, Hannah Rose Marie Adkins at home; maternal grandparents, Bobby and Betty Crowe of Pipestem; paternal grandmother, Margaret J. Gill of Hilldale; maternal great grandmother, Carolyn Crowe of Alderson; great-great grandmother, Garnet Cox of Big Creek; five aunts, Misty Crowe of Pipestem and Kristie Adkins of Madams Creek, Linda Bennett of Hilldale, Brenda Bragg of Hinton and Karen Lemon of Madams Creek; two uncles, Ricky Vandall of Pipestem and Robert Adkins of Madams Creek; three cousins who were special playmates, Gabriel, Ethan and Nicholas Vandall of Pipestem and three cousins, Lexie Taylor, Crystal Adkins of Hilldale and Robert Adkins Jr. of Madams Creek. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel. Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Monday.
