Joyce Ann Bennett, 64, of Crab Orchard passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial Division following a short battle with cancer.
Born April 22, 1950 at Fairmont she was a daughter of the late William Henderson and Helen Rebecca Poling Persick.
Joyce retired from Raleigh General Hospital as a nurse anesthetist with over 20 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, playing games on her computer and spending time family and friends.
Joyce was preceded in death by her companion Terry Sollberger.
Survived by one daughter, Cat Parrish and husband Michael of Crab Orchard; one son, Paul Bennett of Princeton and five grandchildren, John, Kallista, Angel, Jacob and Ayden.
At Joyce's request her body has been cremated and there will be no services.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
