Joyce Crawford

Joyce A. Crawford, 64, of Jumping Branch died at 6:00 P.M. Friday, January 19, 2007 at the Charleston Area Medical Center following a long illness. Born May 23, 1942 at Oswald, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Zada Bowles Morrison. She was a member of the Hinton Gospel Tabernacle and was the former owner of Bobâ??s Produce and Deli in Hinton and was a homemaker. Preceded in death by one brother, David Arnold Morrison, one half brother, Donald Ruff and one half sister Arlena McCoy. Survived by one daughter, Lisa Deeds and husband Wellington of Jumping Branch, one son, Robert Ayers and wife Ann of Hinton, four brothers; Allen Morrison and wife Annie of Richmond, VA, Phillip Morrison and wife Eva of Dublin, VA, Joe Morrison and wife Charlotte of Hinton and Lonnie Morrison and wife Virginia of Hinton, two half sisters; Beth Fitzpatrick of Newport News, VA and Martha Angle of Coal City, three grandchildren; Bobby Ayers, Haley Deeds and Brandon Ayers and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Lawrence Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Ward Cemetery on Chestnut Mt. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Her family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
