Judy Ellen Ward

 Judy Ellen Ward, 70, of Roanoke, VA went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 14, 2024 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

 Born March 7, 1954 at Hinton, WV she was a daughter of the late Robert and Lorraine Ayers Lilly.

 Judy was a former cosmetologist for Elizabeth Arden who loved working in her yard and caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Eugene Ward and four brothers.

 Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Sabrina Crowe and husband Christopher and Melissa Whorley; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley, Amber, Alexander, Jeremiah, Hunter and Joseph; six great grandchildren, Bryson, Blake, Liam (her best friend), Kylie, Bayleigh and Baby Wilson; two brothers, Steve Lilly and wife Garnet and Mark Lilly and wife Erin and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

 Graveside services and burial will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 21, 2024 at the Lilly-Crews Cemetery with Christopher Crowe officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery 10:30 A.M. Friday until time of services. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
