Kathleen Bobring, 76, of Hinton died September 5, 2011 @ Summers County Appalachian Regional Healthcare following a short illness.
Born April 6, 1936 at Isabella, Tennessee she was a daughter of the late Howard and Dessie Stilly Painter.
Kathleen attended the Shepherd?s Care Family Worship Center. She was a homemaker and lived all of her life in Summers County who enjoyed making quilts and collecting antiques.
Preceded in death by two children, Sandra Ballard and Charles Taylor; and a sister Mary Alice Painter.
Survived by her children, Ronnie Dunn and wife Lisa of Beckley, Betty Carter and husband John of Charleston, Paul Taylor and wife Donna of Beckley, Brenda Plumley of Pennsylvania, Alice Dunn of Charleston, and Everette Dunn and wife Dora Mae of Beckley; several grand and great grandchildren; two sisters Louise Macy and husband Ray of Fort Pierce, Florida, Lorraine Davis and husband Gene of Georgia; two brothers Harold Painter of South Carolina and Paul Painter of North Carolina.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Friday September 9, 2011 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Cliff Yates officiating. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until time of the services Friday at the funeral parlors.
