Kathleen Berry Miller, 80, of Meadow Creek went home to be with the Lord Tuesday January 1, 2013 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Born February 7, 1932 at Lockbridge, she was the daughter of the late David Ray and Icy Gunter Berry. A lifelong resident of Summers County she was a homemaker and of the protestant faith. Mrs. Miller was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking and taking care of her family.
Preceded in death by one granddaughter, Amy Allison Miller; one grandson, Daniel Dee Miller and three brothers, Nathan, David Buren and Leland Ray Berry.
Survived by her husband, Herbert Franklin Miller Sr. of Meadow Creek; five children, Herbert Franklin Miller Jr. and wife Dena of Forest Hill, Ronald Miller of NC, Beverly Bowles and husband Kermit of Lockbridge, Timothy Miller and wife Vicki of Princeton and Clifton Miller and wife Janet of Jumping Branch; ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; one brother, Dempsey Berry and wife Cloetta of IN and one sister, Evelyn Crook and husband Herbert of Hilldale.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday January 5, 2013 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Randy Mann officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton. Friends may call from 11:00 am until service time on Saturday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
