Kathy Ann Rice

 Kathy Ann Rice, 66, of Hinton, went home to be with the Lord Thursday December 26, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family following a short illness.

 Born January 17, 1958, in Hinton she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Katherine Young Willey. Kathy was the owner and operator of Kirks Restaurant for the past 30 years and a member of Central Baptist Church in Hinton. She enjoyed taking care of her customers, family and friends, her animals and her deer family. Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.

 Preceded in death by one brother, Eddie Willey.

 Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Wayne Rice; children, Lori Willey, Cody Rice and wife Kelsey, Teresa Bauer and husband Jeff and Matt Rice and wife Leanna; grandchildren, Kendall, Aaron, Autumn, Nate, Austin and Riley; great grandchildren, Easton, Oliver and Aiden; one brother, Johnny Willey; special sister-in-law, Connie Willey and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

 Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Monday December 30, 2024, at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Indian Mills Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 am until service time on Monday at the funeral parlors. 

  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
