Kathy L. Richmond

 Kathy L. Richmond, 59, of True entered into eternal rest January 24, 2025 at CAMC Memorial Hospital following a short illness.

 Born January 30, 1965 in Dearborn, MI she was the daughter of the late John Lucas and Lynn Buck Lucas. Kathy was a former employee of Summers County Council on Aging proudly serving as a home health aide for over 20 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, friend and caregiver who loved spending time with her family and lending a helping hand to her friends and community. Kathy enjoyed camping, loved her dog Cooper, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

 Preceded in death by her husband, Lewis W. Richmond and brother-in-law, Larry Richmond.

 Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Danielle Richmond Lusk and husband Chris of Crab Orchard and Kristen Richmond of Dunbar; special friend, Kenneth White of Oneonta, AL; mother and father-in-law, Jim and Mildred Richmond; brother-in-law, Greg Richmond; sister-in-law, Susan Steitz and several special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

 Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday January 30, 2025 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Rev. Ben M. Peyton officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Ballengee. Visitation will be 11:30 am until the time of services on Thursday at the funeral parlors.

 Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

  In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to the funeral parlors to help with funeral expenses.
