Kenneth Harold Voak, 81, of Ladysmith, VA, former resident of Streeter, died Saturday, April 28, 2007 at the Mary Washington Hospital at Fredricksburg,VA, following a short illness. He was born November 8, 1925, in Penn Yan, New York, a son of the late Clarence and Charlotte Voak. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II having served in the South Pacific. Mr. Voak was an automotive technician and a member of the Dale City Church of God. He was an avid NASCAR fan and had built stock cars for a number of years. Survived by his wife Janice Basham Voak of Ladysmith, VA; five children Verna Schmitt of Shallotte, NC, David Burkhammer, Richard Burkhammer, Lisa Bard, and Kenneth C. Voak all of Ladysmith, VA; four grandchildren Kevin Schmitt of Leland, NC, Lee Bard, Jayden Voak, and Brendon Voak all of Ladysmith, VA. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday May 2, 2007 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Rev. Dalene Coffman officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call at the funeral parlors Tuesday from 6-8 P.M.
