Larry Dick

Larry Edward Dick, 78, of Sandstone passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Bowers Hospice House following a long illness.

Born January 30, 1942 at Hinton he was a son of the late Walter and Sallie Bragg Dick.

Larry was a farmer and a lifelong resident of Summers County. He enjoyed working with his horses and hogs, hunting and the outdoors.

Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Dick; one son, Shannon Dick; one sister, Loretta Dick and two brothers, Leonard and Lewis Dick.

Those left to cherish his memory include one son, Dennis Dick and wife Karrie of Cincinnati, OH; one daughter, Melissa Dick of Sandstone; one granddaughter, Izabella Dick; siblings, Lloyd Dick and wife Faye of Hix, Lila Lou Allen and husband Arnold of Lebanon, OH, Linda Wood of Sandstone, Lorene Ward and husband Jimmy of Hix and Lionel Dick of Sandstone; close nephews, Joe Northern and wife Trista and their children, Michael and Layla and Danny Northern and wife Patty and their children, Dustin, Jacob and Ciera and many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 27, 2020 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Cecil Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery at Ramp. Friends may call from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
