Latona Lee "Toni" Basham, 84, of Beech Run obtained her heavenly reward, Saturday December 15, 2018 at the Bower's Hospice House following an extended illness.
Born November 17, 1934 at Columbus, OH she was a daughter of the late Orville A. and Mary Elizabeth Young Eller.
Toni was a homemaker, member of the Beech Run Baptist Church who enjoyed reading her Bible, flower gardening, crocheting, crafts, listening to Christian music and taking care of her precious cat "Buddy". She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Preceding her in death include her husband of 66 years, James W. Basham; one granddaughter, Melissa Basham; one brother, Jimmy Eller; and one sister, Betty Carson.
Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Jim Basham of North Myrtle Beach, SC; two daughters, Linda Ratcliffe of Nimitz and Mary Shaffer and husband Carl of Bellepoint; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Sonny Angell officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Tuesday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
