Lennis J. Farley, 91, of Forest Hill went home to be with the Lord, September 11, 2009 at Princeton Community Hospital following a short illness.
Born November 24, 1917 she was a daughter of the late Henry Andrew and Madeline Mae Weikel Privett. A homemaker, she loved her family and her Savior Jesus Christ dearly. She was a member of the Brooks Baptist Church and she loved going to church as long as her health permitted.
Preceded in death by her husband, Leslie W. Farley; son, Donald L. Farley;
daughter-in-law, Patricia L. Farley; three sisters, Dorothy Howell, Norma Johnson and Zola Fotos and two brothers, Austin Privett and Earl Ray Privett.
Survived by two daughters, Marjorie Brunty and Jeannette Penix both of Beckley; five sons, Ronald Farley and wife Charlotte of Shawsville, VA, James Farley and wife Mabel of Ohio, Tom Farley and wife Marie of Monroe Co., Bill Farley and wife Rhonda of Boone Co. and John Farley and wife Tammy of King Mt., NC; three brothers, Rudy Privett and wife Naomi of Washington State, Ralph Privett and wife Frances of Forest Hill and Willis Privett and wife Phyllis of Michigan; one sister, Gerry Wetzel and husband Joe of Alabama and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services and burial were held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 13, 2009 at the Roles Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating.
