Leo Miller Harvey, 57, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Sunday, December 16, 2018 at University of Kentucky Medial Center following a short illness.
Born April 23, 1961 at Longbottom he was a son of the late Cody Leo and Lestine Manzy Adkins Harvey.
Leo was a construction worker and a member of AFLCIO and WV Carpenters Local 1911. He enjoyed music, the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Leo was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmie Harvey and two sisters, Ruby Ann Harvey and Dianna Harvey.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Ruby Ann Harvey at home; four children, Tina Rice and husband Russell of VA, Robbie Harvey and wife Crystal of Shady Spring, Krissi Lea Harvey of FL and Jacob Atwell of NC; two step children, Nina Richmond and husband Josh of Bellepoint and Noah Gill and wife Leslie of Shady Spring; grandchildren, Felicia Harvey, Robert "R.J." Harvey, Morgan Bailey, Katlyn Webster and Russell Rice IV; step grandchildren, Skyler Gill, Mason Richmond, Shawna Adkins, Brian Adkins, Dane and Easton Gill; siblings, Lonnie Harvey and wife Terri of Princeton, William Harvey and wife Verena of TN, Mike Harvey of Oak Hill, Judy Copeland of Nimitz and Pamela Harvey of Beaver; special nephew, David Harvey and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins whom he loved dearly.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 21, 2018 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Adkins Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
