Leota Phyllis Williams Huffman Spade, 84, of Lowell went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Main Street Care.
Born July 3, 1940 at Judson she was a daughter of the late French and Lottie Ballengee Williams.
Leota was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed quilting, sewing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Leota was preceded in death by two sons, John Wayne Huffman and Gary Kenneth Huffman; a son in law, Dale Dillon and several brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory include her five children, Shirley Ward and husband Dale, Drema Dillon, Teresa Willey and husband Bobby, Loretta Trout and husband James and Joni Jones and husband David; nineteen grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; one expected great grandchild and one sister, Joyce Huffman.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 23, 2025 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Joe Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in the Tempa Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until time of services on Sunday at the funeral parlors.
Dale Ward, Bobby Willey, David Jones, Nicholas Wickline, Nathan Wickline and Evan McGuire will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to thank the staff of Main Street Care, Palliative Care and Hospice of Southern West Virginia for the love and care they provided for Leota.
