Lewis W. Wills Sr., 74 of Jumping Branch went home to be with the Lord at 12:40 A.M. Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at his home following a short illness.
Born November 7, 1934 at Jumping Branch, he was a son of the late Joe and Lena Lilly Wills. Lewis worked at a box factory in Baltimore till his retirement when he returned to Jumping Branch, he loved the outdoors especially when it was time to go hunting. A member of the Fairview Free Will Baptist Church, he dearly loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Dicie Lewis and one brother, Basil Wills.
Survived by one daughter, Kathy Wills of Jumping Branch; one son, Lewis Wills Jr.; six grandchildren, Belinda Voyles, Lena Kerr and husband Tony, Chris Lilly and wife Jeannie, Robert Wills, Rebecca Wills and Nicole Wills; thirteen great grandchildren, John, Kimberly, Kameron, Adam, Jennifer, Halley, Abby, Mckenzie and Madlyn, Karyssa, Jullian, Hailey and Olivia; three sisters, Charlotte Harvey, Shirley Dobbs and Pauline Davis and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August, 8, 2009 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Charles Tilley officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from noon until service time on Saturday.
Men of the church will serve as pallbearers.
