Lilly B. Gill, 83, of Hinton, died Thursday, April 28, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Summers Co. Appalachian Regional Hospital at Hinton following a long illness. Born February 20, 1922 at Lockbridge, WV she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Cindy Martin and was a lifelong resident of Summers Co. Mrs. Gill was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hinton. Preceded in death by her husband, Morgan Gill in 1975, two sons, Billy Joe and Roy Lee Gill and one daughter, Lize Plumley. Survived by five daughters; Kay Moss and husband Harold of Mocunaqua, PA, Linda Burns and husband Mike of Pence Springs, Anna Vandall, Emma Richmond and Phyllis S. Crook and husband Paul of Hinton, three sons; Mike Gill and wife Carmella, Mark Gill and wife Eve and Jerry R. Gill all of Hinton, one half sister, Lucy Johnson of Dayton, OH, twenty-three grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Dr. Mickey Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery at Hinton. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6-9 P.M. Saturday. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
