Lola Lilly

July 31, 1939 — December 19, 2018

Lola Maye Judy Lilly entered into her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 after a long illness.
Lola was born July 31, 1939 at Green Sulphur Springs to the late Terry S. and Elsie Cyrus Lemon. Also in her life was a special father figure, the late Melvin D. Haptonstall "Happy".
She was of the Baptist faith and attended Central Baptist Church as long as her health permitted. Lola worked as a waitress for many years at The Steakhouse, The Diner and The Kitchen. Later in her life she worked for the Summers County Board of Education for over 25 years as a cook. Lola was one of the first LPN's to graduate in Summers County. In her spare time Lola enjoyed going to yard sales.
She was preceded in death by three siblings, Billy Jaynes, Carlos Ward and Lila Oxley; a very special companion, Raymond Wills; her first husband, Hobert S. Judy and her second husband, Carl Lilly Jr. Lola was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by her children, David "Wayne" Judy and companion Carolyn Brown and Royce Ann Judy Martin and the late David "Cow" Martin; grandchildren, Ryan A. Martin and wife Wendy, Tamara Judy, Christy Judy Pack and husband Chris and Shandi Judy Morgan and husband Michael; great grandchildren, Coty, Bryce, Katelyn and Grace Martin, Jacob Judy and wife Katie, Maggie Judy Meade and husband Jake, Willie "Duke" Dodson, Ike, Christian, Lauren, Payton "P.J." and Bayleigh Pack and Michael X. Judy; great great grandchildren, Jace Judy and Jozie and Mallie Meade; special brother in laws, Stuart Oxley and David Judy; her faithful and loving K-9 , Yellow; numerous nieces and nephews and two very special and caring ladies who adopted her as their own "Granny", Sherry Pack Canaday and Christy Petrey.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Southern WV and staff, Sharif Shammaa, PA-C, Jennie GilBhrighde, D.O. and special neighbors whom helped Lola throughout the years, Timmy and Ray Gill.
Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors with Pastor Robbie Merritt and Freddie Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral parlors.
Great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
