Lowell Verlis Mills, 69, of Spokane, WA, formerly of Herndon passed away December 28, 2015 from complications of diabetes.
Born February 2, 1946 in Herndon, he was a son of the late London L. and Ollie McKinney Mills.
Lowell worked for Northwest Airlines for 35 years. Because of his love for hunting and fishing he decided to make his home in Spokane.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Mills and one sister, Brenda Green.
Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Gloria Mills and Laurel Mills both of Washington, D.C. ; two sisters, Vivian Plumley of Hinton and Sharlene Matts of Cleveland, OH; one brother, Michael Mills of Ghent; a good friend, Jara Cohon and friend, Jerry Kempf of Spokane, WA.
At his wish his body was cremated and a service will be held at a later date.
