Lynne M. Lucas, 69, of True passed away Friday January 4, 2013 at her home following a sudden illness.
Born February 19, 1943 at Detroit, MI she was the daughter of the late Lynn W. and Beatrice A. McClelland Buck. A homemaker she was a member of the American Legion Post #472 and the Moose Lodge in Michigan. Lynne was of the Baptist Faith, she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her grandchildren were her life.
Preceded in death by her husband, John L. Lucas; infant daughter, Jo Ann Marie Lucas and a son-in-law, Lewis Richmond.
Survived by one daughter, Kathy Richmond of True; two sons, Michael Lucas of Detroit, MI and John Lucas Jr. and wife Pamela of Taylor, MI; five grandchildren, Danielle Richmond and companion Dave Anderson of Shady Spring, Kristen Richmond of True, David DeLong and companion Samantha Schell, John Lucas and Marissa Lucas all of Taylor, MI; one great grandson, David J. Lewis DeLong of Taylor, MI; three step-grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Buck of MI and Albert Buck of IL; one sister, Patricia Gonzalez of MI and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2013 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Lucas Family Cemetery at True. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Monday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
