M.A. Grimmett

M.A. ?Tony? Grimmett, 73, of Hinton entered into eternal rest peacefully at home, Tuesday, September 18, 2012 following a long illness.
Born January 16, 1939 at Hinton, he was a son of Imogene Grimmett of Hinton and the late Paul Grimmett.
Tony was the former owner and operator of ?Tony?s? in Hinton retiring in 2003. He was an avid NASCAR Fan attending many races with friends, as well as fishing and spending time with family and friends as long as his health permitted.
Besides his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 51 years, Barbara Cole Grimmett at home; one son, Alan Grimmett of Hinton; one daughter, Sara Fix and husband Randy of Hilldale; two step granddaughters, Molly and Kassi Fix; two step great grandchildren, Liam and Laci; one brother, Roger Grimmett and wife Ruth of Hampton, VA; one sister, Roberta Wheeler of Hinton and several nieces and nephews also survive.
In honor of Tony?s wishes the body has been cremated. Memorial services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from noon until service time on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers donations of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Southern WV P.O. Box 1472 Beckley, WV 25801.
