Margaret Angell

December 9, 1927 — February 13, 2010

Margaret Ann Thompson Angell, 82 of Beech Run, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday morning, February 13, 2010 at Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital with her family surrounding her.
Born December 9, 1927 at Terry, WV she was the daughter of the late Overton Otto and Blanche Hughes Thompson. Margaret was a member of the Beech Run Baptist Church and faithfully attended while health permitted, lifelong resident of Summers County, a homemaker and former employee of Fitzgerald?s, Foodland and Angell?s at Nimitz.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orbra B. Angell Sr. and six brothers, Kenneth, Fred, Bill, Charles, Clarence and Dave Thompson.
Survivors include four sons, Orbra ?Sonny? Angell and wife Ruth of Beech Run, James ?Mickey? Angell and wife Amy, Charles ?Poncho? Angell and wife Patricia and Zina Lee Angell and wife Cathy all of Jumping Branch; three daughters, Rebecca Sue Angell and Steve Meadows, Alice Harvey and husband Tony both of Hinton and Barbara Meadows and husband Kenny of Jumping Branch; ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; three brothers, Ronald Thompson of Alderson, Benny Thompson and wife Janice of Griffith Creek and Gary Thompson and wife Ruth of Fairlea; two sisters, Oma Jean Thompson of Bluefield and Carol Rudisill and husband David of Barger Springs; brother-in-law, Grover Angell and wife Lois of Aurora Colorado; two sister-in-laws, Helen and Betty Angell both of Hinton.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastors Orbra B. Angell and Bob Combs officiating. Burial will follow at the Restwood Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors from 5-8 P.M. on Monday.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Lee Hunt, Jerry Cooper, Pat Amick, Steve Lane, Billy Joe Bowles, Doug Epperly and Herbie and Scott ?the bread boys? will serve as honorary pallbearers.
