Margaret Bennett

Margaret E. Bennett 95, of Hinton died Sunday, May 31, 2009 in the Summers Nursing and Rehab Center at Hilldale following a short illness. Born June 17, 1913 in Summers Co. she was a daughter of the late Fount and Cora Jane Fox Grimmett. A homemaker she was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahâ??s Witnesses in Hinton and a 1934 graduate of the Romney School for the Blind. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Issac Bennett in 1985, one son, Jerry Bennett in 2007, one brother and three sisters. Survived by one daughter, Cora Evangeline Adkins and husband Buster of Mineral Wells and one son, Harry Bennett of Hinton, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Graveside service and burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at the Elk Knob Baptist Church Cemetery with Jim McClure officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
