Margaret S. ?Peggy? Keaton, 78, of Jumping Branch went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at her home following a sudden illness.

Born May 30, 1935 at Jumping Branch she was a daughter of the late Elder Joseph Ray ?J.R.? and Cora Alice Lilly.

Peggy was a member of the Nimitz Missionary Baptist Church and attended Jumping Branch Tabernacle. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Summers County. Peggy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking and being a part of church activities. Her children and grandchildren were the love and joy of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Truman ?Danny? Keaton; two sisters in law, Etta Lilly and Ann Lilly; two brothers in law, Clyde Moye and Bill Mock; step mother, Kennamae Lilly and a special friend, Lillian Pack with whom she spent many hours walking the roads of Nimitz, traveling and playing cards.

Those left to cherish her memory include three sons, Billy Joe ?Bill? Keaton and wife Tonya of Hilldale, Mark Keaton and wife Kayo of Ronceverte and Phillip ?P.K.? Keaton and wife Rhonda of Rock Hill, SC; one daughter, Rebecca Keaton Wilson of Oak Hill; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Ickes and husband Wayne of Daniels, Karsyn and Bryson Keaton of Hilldale, Jacob Keaton, Katie Hanna and husband Dylan all of Ronceverte, Alexis and Allison Keaton of Rock Hill, SC; two great grandchildren, Zachary Tincher of Rainelle and Michael Guilliams of Daniels; six siblings, Zane Lilly of Hurricane, Dorothy Mock of West Palm Beach, FL, Betty Moye of Columbia, SC, Retha Farley and husband Ray of Amelia, OH, Josie Lilly of Columbia, SC and Bill Lilly of Jumping Branch; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Connie Lilly and Tabitha Barnes, Shari Boland Thompson and Ruby Harrah.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Elder Tommy Pack and Tom Coffman officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from noon until time of services.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations of sympathy be made to the Jumping Branch Tabernacle, c/o: Tom Coffman, 307 Robin Roost Rd., Jumping Branch, WV 25969.
