Mary Ethel

Mary Ethel Cox, 87, of Jumping Branch, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at 8:00 P.M. at the Raleigh Center at Beaver, following a long illness. Born March 13, 1917 at Ellison, she was the daughter of the late Winfred P. and Roxie Cox Farley. Mrs. Cox was a member of the Bluestone Baptist Church at Jumping Branch and a member of the Nimitz-Jumping Branch CEO?S. She was preceded in death by her husband; Waldo Cox, four brothers; Ordie, Cecil, James, and Lester Farley and one sister, Ivory Farley Lilly. Survived by three daughters; Mary Lou Cox of Jumping Branch, Carolyn Bennett and husband Steven of Jumping Branch and Judith Martin and husband Terrell of Powhatan, VA, three granddaughters; Susan Richmond and husband Keith of Jumping Branch, Mary Kaye Bennett of Felton, DE and Julia Everhart and husband Rob of Irmo, SC, two sisters; Lula Stables of Fort Wayne, IN and Pauline McKinney of Columbia City, IN. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Bluestone Baptist Church at Jumping Branch with Pastor Bill Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens at Hinton. Friends may call at the Church from 11:00 A.M. until funeral time on Saturday.
