Mary Virginia “Aunt Jen” Meadows Hancock, 96 of Cleveland, Ohio entered into eternal rest Monday, March 30, 2020.
Born March 12, 1924 in Hinton, daughter of the late William “Billie Gordon” and Daisy Allen Meadows.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert C. Hancock; by her brothers, Lake, Roy, Joe, and Frank; and her sisters, Thelma Canterbury, Ruth Goff, Ramona Ramsey & Margie
Left to cherish her memory are sisters Barbara Farley (Norman) and Patsy Turner (Melvin) also several nieces & nephews.
“Aunt Jen” and Uncle Herb spent most of their life in Cleveland, Oh. they were avid antique and furniture buyers. They did regular auctions at the Old Forest Hill School building. For most of their lives they provided assistance to family members for education and monetary needs. “Aunt Jen” retired at 80 years old from Fairview Dry Cleaners, Cleveland, Ohio.
“Aunt Jen” has spent her retirement under the care of her nephew, Larry Meadows, in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
For the safety of the family and community, services will be private with Pastor Robbie Merritt.
Pallbearers will be: JC Wheeler & friends.
