Mary Highlander

May 16, 1950 — April 5, 2014

Mary Evelyn Highlander, 63, of Hilldale went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Springfield Center in Lindside following a long illness.
Born May 16, 1950 in Raleigh County she was the daughter of the late Denny M. and Florence Mills Richmond. A former certified nursing assistant at Summers Nursing and Rehab, she was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed playing bingo, arts and crafts and spending time with family and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, John Francis Williams Sr.; one daughter, Jennifer Willams and two brothers, Urvin and Jack Richmond.
Those left to cherish her memory include three children, Linda Belcher and husband Tim of Princeton, Cindy Meadows and husband Rusty of Hilldale and John Francis Williams Jr. of Jumping Branch; six grandchildren, Moleigh Bargo of PA, Mika Bargo of Princeton, Rachel Belcher of Princeton, Stephanie Meadows of Hilldale, Daunte Meadows of Hilldale and John Keith Williams of Jumping Branch and one great grandchild, Conner Decker of PA; three brothers, Norman Richmond, Melvin Richmond and wife Loretta and Donald Richmond and one sister, Brenda Kirby.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Anthony Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens at Hinton. Friends may call from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
