Mary Carol Meadows, 72, of Little Wolf Creek went home to be with the Lord Saturday, October 7, 2017 following a long illness.
Born December 29, 1944 at Talcott she was a daughter of the late Charley James and Violet Marie Adkins Buckland.
Mary was a member of the Indian Mills Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who loved embroidery, canning, attending church functions and was a friend to all.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Meadows; sisters, Ruby Ellen Gwinn and Joyce Marie Adkins and two infant sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Donna Kay Belcher and husband Rex of Queenstown, MD; two sons, Mark Timothy Meadows and wife Cathy of Prosperity and John David Meadows of Little Wolf Creek; two grandchildren, Frank Steven Trent and Melissa Dawn Kramer; five great grandchildren, Jonathan, Amber, Abigale, Emily and Angela; two sisters, Lula Mae Ward of Hilldale and Cora Ann Meadows of Charleston; one brother, Charles Buckland and wife Josephine of Ashland, VA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Don Hannah officiating. Burial will follow in the Huffman Cemetery at Buck. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral parlors.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Ray Harrell, Derek Lehew, Frank Steven Trent, David Lee Jones, Justin Persinger and Larry Williams.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
