Mary Stephens

Mary C. â??Margaretâ?? Stephens, 87, of Madams Creek, Hinton, died Sunday September 30, 2007 at 2:06 P.M. at the Bowerâ??s Hospice House, following a long illness. Born October 12, 1919 at Richmond, VA, she was the daughter of the late Josie Snuffer Montgomery. Mrs. Stephens was a homemaker, a member of the Church of the Brethern at Crab Orchard and a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great- great grandmother. She had lived most of her life at Crab Orchard and Hinton. Preceded in death by her Husband, Joseph H. Stephens. Survived by; three sons, Joseph Galen Stephens and wife Shirley of Mabscott, Roger Stephens of Berkley Springs and Mark Wayne Stephens and wife Sylvia of Madamâ??s Creek, Hinton; two daughters, Brenda Bahmer and Debra Martin both of MacFarlan, WV; forty-three combined grandchildren also survive. Graveside services and burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Restwood Memorial Gardens at Hinton with Pastor Jimmy Fitzpatrick officiating. Friends may call at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton from noon until funeral time on Tuesday. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
