Mary Ethel Wickline, 79 of Alderson died at 1:30 P.M., Friday, July 10, 2009 in the Beckley ARH with her family by her side, following a short illness. Born April 5, 1930 at Hix WV, she was the daughter of the late Preston and Effie Richmond Cales and the step-daughter of Hobert Williams. Mary was a loving and devoted at home grandmother and caregiver to all, a true friend and role model to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Wickline, two sisters; Janice Cooper and Elinore Cales, two brothers; Arley and David Cales, and one granddaughter Misty Vicarone. Mrs. Wickline is survived by four daughters; Lillian Bowles and husband Joe of Ballard, Joyce Vanadia and husband Salvatore of Cleveland OH., Teresa Rivera and husband Albert of Hinton and Jeannie Richmond of Cleveland OH; three sons, Claude Wickline and wife Marsha of Cleveland, OH, William Wickline of Alderson and Stephen Wickline of Cleveland, OH; one son-in-law Gerald Richmond of Alderson; sixteen grandchildren, Richard and David Carter, Renee Lee, Laura and Rita Richmond, Jodie Lee, Jamie Boone, Carl Wickline, Michael Rivera, Sonya Maynor, Joseph Vicarone, Adam and Gary Passauer, Brandi Rivera, Amber Brewer and Denise Holt; twenty- five great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Sadie Williams and Genettea Humphries; four brothers, Alton (Tater) Cales, Alfred Cales, Roger Cales and Jerry Cales also survive. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at the Tempa Baptist Church with Pastor Bobby Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Alderson Cemetery at Hix. Friends may call from 6-9 P.M. Monday, July 13, 2009 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton and at the church one hour prior to time of service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
