Matthew Shirey

Matthew Lake Shirey, our beautiful, precious angel, is dancing at the side of Jesus. Born September 17, 2008 at Ronceverte, WV to Sherry Lynn Shirey of Hinton and Lloyd Asbury II of Beckley, WV. Preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Theresa Ann Shifflett, his maternal great grandmother, Virginia M. Meadows and a host of other family. Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers; Logan and Joshua Shirey and one sister; Cheyanne Shirey all of Hinton, his Grandaddy Ralph (Shag) Shirey and Nana, Betty Shirey of Hinton, Unkie Sean Shirey and fiancée aunt Carrie Huffman of Hinton, Special Great Uncle Mark and Great Aunt Barbie Head of Fairfax, VA, God parents, Kenneth and Ashley Mawyer of Scottsville, VA and Special cousins Haley and K. P. Mawyer of Scottsville, VA. Private family services will be held at a later date.
