Maycle O. Adkins Payne Triebenbach, 85 of Cool Ridge, died at 10:44 A.M. Saturday, June 24, 2006 in the Raleigh General Hospital at Beckley following a short illness. Born March 8, 1921 at New River Road, Raleigh County she was a daughter of the late Silas A. and Lottie Belle Bennett Adkins. She had lived most of her life in Raleigh County and was a former employee of Beckley Manufacturing and the Raleigh County Board of Education and a member of the Mt. Olivet Church at Hinton. Preceded in death by her husband Watts Payne. Survived by two daughters, Glenna Hammack and husband Michael of Lynchburg, VA and Shirley Perkins and husband Russell of Crab Orchard; five grandchildren, Cheryl Mercadante and husband Michael of Eccles, Phillip Shelton of TN, Stephen Perkins and wife Amanda of Flagstaff, AZ, Brian Perkins of Blacksburg, VA and Jennifer Thomas and husband Leon of Bradenton, FL; three great grandchildren, five sisters, May Woods of Meadow Creek, Elva Boinoyvich of Elkton, MD, Listina Harvey of White Oak, Lena Meadows of Shady Springs and Grace Meadows of Shady Springs; one brother, Rossy â??Rossâ?? Adkins of Elkton, MD. Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 29, 2006 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor William Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Silas Adkins Family Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until funeral time on Thursday. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
