Megan Joelle Wills, 19, of Jumping Branch went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at her home.
Born December 11, 2004 at Beckley she was a daughter of Herbert Lee Wills Jr. and Mary Ellen Toler Wills of Jumping Branch.
Megan was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church and had made a profession of faith as a child. She was a 2023 graduate of Summers County Comprehensive High School and was a freshman at WVU Tech studying nursing. Megan enjoyed playing with her yorkie “Moki”, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Herbert Lee Wills Sr. and maternal grandfather, James Thomas Toler.
Besides her parents those left to cherish her memory include one brother, Isaiah Wills at home; one sister, Shanon Dickenson and husband Benjamin; one nephew, Holden Dickenson; one niece, Oaklyn Grace Dickenson, all of Jumping Branch; maternal grandmother, Hazel Toler; paternal grandmother, Elaine Wood and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Daniel Toler officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
