Melvin H. Grimmett

  Melvin H. Grimmett, 81 of Hinton went home to be with the Lord, Friday February 14, 2025 at Main Street Care following a long illness.

 Born September 7, 1943, in Hinton he was a son of the late Arthur Thomas and Sarah Dorothy Martin Grimmett.

 Melvin enjoyed Deer Hunting, Fishing and going to shooting matches. He attended Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church in his youth.

 Those left to cherish his memory include one sister, Nannie R. Grimmett of Hilldale and two brothers, Norvel Grimmett of Wise, VA and Tommy Grimmett and wife Lois of Hinton.

 Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday February 18, 2025, at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Martin Family Cemetery on Shepherd Mtn. Friends may call from Noon until time of services on Tuesday at the Funeral Parlors.

 Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
