Meridith "Trey" Bennett III

Meridith F. “Trey” Bennett III, 26, of Nimitz passed peacefully in his sleep Monday, January 13, 2020 at his home following a long illness.

Born May 4, 1993 at Princeton, WV he was a son of Meridith F. Bennett Jr. and companion Elizabeth Harvey of Jumping Branch and Rainelle Bennett of Nimitz.

Trey was a member of Summers County 4-H. He was an employee of Asplundh Tree Company and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his buddies.

Besides his parents he is survived by one sister, Terra Nicole Bennett and fiance Justin Turner of Lerona; one brother, Jonathan D. “Tucker” Bennett and fiancé Haley Fields of Nimitz; two nephews, Braxton Lambert and Corbin Lambert; paternal grandparents, Meridith Sr. and Freida Bennett; maternal grandparents, David and Catherine Keaton and many aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved dearly.

Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Monday, January 20, 2020 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Randy Burdette officiating. Friends may call from 6:00 P.M. until time of services. At his request following the visitation the body will be cremated.
