Michael Keith Kesner

Michael Keith Kesner, 70, of True went home to be with the Lord Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Bowers Hospice House following a long illness.

 Born March 7, 1954, in Woodstock, VA he was the son of the late Alston Boggs and Marcella Groves and his stepfather, James Millard Groves. A retired supervisor from IAC Manufacturing in Strasburg, VA, member of the Pearisburg, VA Masonic Lodge 106 AF&AM he loved playing golf and spending time with his wife.

 Preceded in death by one sister, Judy Carol Kesner and one step grandson, Cory Thomas Carr.

 Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 38 years, Violet Ann Kesner; one son, Michael K. Snapp; one daughter, Christina Snapp; two stepchildren, Lori Carr and Amy Madigan; twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; two brothers, James Edward Groves and Melvin Paul Kesner; three sisters, Irene Elizabeth Weber, Mildred Jean Colley, and Joann Kniess; and several nieces and nephews.

 Mike’s wishes were to keep giving the gift of life and his body has been donated to science. There will be no services at this time and a memorial service may be held at a later date.
