Michael Wayne Palmore

     Michael Wayne Palmore, 66, of Jumping Branch went home to be with the Lord Thursday, October 20, 2022 following a long illness.

     Born June 27, 1956 at Richmond, VA he was a son of the late Miriam Palmore and Sudie Mae Barden Palmore.

     Mike served his country in the United States Army having reached the rank Staff Sgt. with 20 years of service. He then continued his public service for 15 years as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service until his retirement. Mike loved country music and traveling, especially cruises.

     Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

     Survived by his wife, Donna Palmore; two daughters, Christine N. Palmore and Shelby M. Palmore and one brother, Jerry Palmore.

     A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held 6:00 P.M. Friday, November 4, 2022 at the Central Baptist Church in Hinton. Family and friends are asked to gather at 5:30 P.M. at the church. Mike will be laid to rest with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
