Mildred Lowry

Mildred Lowry, 88 of Hilldale went home to be with the Lord, Friday, February 5, 2021 at her home following a short illness.

Born September 13, 1932 at Hinton she was a daughter of the late Fleet and Ellen McCormick Pitzer.

Mildred was a homemaker who enjoyed yard sales, flea markets, crafts and spending time with her friends. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd O. “Sleepy” Lowry and several brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Barbara Greer and husband Jim of NC, Carol Ward and husband Larry of Hilldale and Jamie Lowry and wife Jennifer of Talcott; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
