Millard "M.B." Wills, 88, of Hilldale went home to be with the Lord, Sunday March 15, 2015 at Summers Co. Appalachian Regional Hospital following a short illness.
Born August 14, 1926 at Jumping Branch. He was the son of the late Alfred Lee and Anna Vest Wills, and his step-mother, Mamie Morgan Wills. A retired conductor for CSX Transportation with 39 years of service and with many years of service on the Safety Committee Board. Elder of the Greenbrier Primitive Baptist Church with many years of service to our areas Primitive Baptist Churches. His service to God always came first in his life. He enjoyed gardening, camping and going to the beach.
Preceded in death by one granddaughter, Michelle Palmer; three brothers, Harlow, Jack and Wilfred Wills and one sister, Lura Mae Cochran.
Those left to cherish his memory include his devoted wife of 65 years, Betty Cochran Wills of Hilldale; four children, Kathy Palmer and husband David of Lowell, Terri Keatley and husband David of Forest Hill, Marilyn Jo Foster and husband Andy of Asheboro, NC and Mark Steven Wills of Lewisburg; ten grandchildren, Johnathan, Crystal, Jennifer, Melissa, Joseph, Jamie, Amber, Jordan, Courtney and Chasta; twelve great grandchildren and one brother, Wendell Wills of Crab Orchard.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday March 18, 2015 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel, with Elder Tommy Pack and Pastor Larry Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson Vest Cemetery at Streeter. Friends may call from noon until service time on Wednesday at the Funeral Parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
